I'm In!

Here's a little 4th of July test in American Civics for you. Both of my grandfathers were "naturalized citizens" and I assume had to take a test similar to this. Luckily for Grampie A. it's an oral interview because he never learned to read. Would you "make the grade" to be an American citizen?

Okay, I did it. Got 2 wrong. Didnt know when the 4th was adopted and who said, Give me liberty or give me death. I thought for sure it was Jefferson. Oops!! :( I don't think that was to bad considering I haven't opened a civics book in a century or so.

Let's just say, it's a good thing my great-grandfathers did it so that I don't have to. (Hey, I haven't studied American history for like, 4 years. But when I was in it, I was GOOD at it!)

Oh, and where was Grampy Boone from? I just always assumed he was born in Maine.

Grampie B. was from Forest City, New Brunswick, Canada. It's right beside Forest City, Maine...in fact it kind of IS Forest City, Maine....

Hay, from my perspective Canada IS home.
